mermaids dining room and bar has been established for 11 years and is literally on the edge of burleigh heads beach. the casual coffee and dining area spills onto the beach sand, while the outer front terrace looks out over the waves of what is known as burleigh point.

this point is regarded by surfers as one of the best point breaks in the world, and at certain tides surfboard riders pass metres from diners – an idyllic way to enjoy a great dining experience.
